Wisconsin quilting is a blog that focuses on paper piecing designs.

Peggy Aare has been posting designs here since 2012.  She also is a guest contributor at Lori Kennedy’s InBoxJaunt. Peggy uses skills gained from years of Computer Aided Design (CAD), photography, urban sketching, and of course quilting – to develop the quilt patterns within this blog.

All patterns are created by Peggy Aare and are intended for personal use only.  Feel free to share links with attribution to Peggy Aare at WisconsinQuilting.wordpress.com.

If you sew any of these designs, please send us a picture- I would love to see them!

  1. Thank you for the lovely free Xmas wreath block. Also…I was pretty much dazzled by the 28 in tall Nutcracker pattern. I bought it immediately. Dunno when I’ll get around to making it, of course. The Nutcracker Ballet is one of my husband’s favorite things. I think he’d be impressed to see it on a quilt.
