Jasper, in the Canadian Rockies is one of 4 parks I’m illustrating in commemoration of Canada’s park’s 150th anniversary in 2017. This paper pieced pattern is a straightforward assembly of horizontal strips. Total number of piece is less than 50 and the colors are very forgiving as long as you keep the lightest on the top of the mountains and the darkest at the waterline. Water reflections are best a shade darker. The finished project is 32″ wide x 24″ high. The packet includes a color chart, a visual diagram for the piecing sequence, and a reversed line drawing for printing the full sized pattern. The cost is $7.50 US. Enjoy! and Happy 150th Canada!
