Canadian Parks, Jasper paper pieced

Jasper Day and Night

To commemorate Canada parks’ 150th anniversary, I’m working on a series of Canadian National Parks.   This is Jasper National Park, Alberta, Canada

All parks in  Canada are free this year, 2017, if you send ahead for a free pass (see the above green hanging tag).

The left hand, nighttime design above has less than 50 pieces and is mostly horizontal pieced strips.  If you want to avoid those curved seams in the moon, just applique it later.  Pattern download to follow in the next posting.

  1. Hi Peggy, love your paper piecing of Jasper Park. I hope that you’ll get to visit many National Parks this year! Thanks for linking up to Celebrate-Fêtons 150!
