Turkey, a paper pieced pattern tradition

mrdomestic-mathew-broudreauxfinished-turkey-nov-2016sm

Mathew at Mr. Domestic pieced and quilted this turkey from my free pattern.    What an imposing bird to oversee any Thanksgiving gathering.  The wedges are straightforward to piece and the offset feathers mean few seams to match.    Download the pattern and give the 24″ wide bird a go.   Here’s the original post.

The bird has already made an appearance on Mr Domestic, and Stitching Sewcial, and Pat Sloan’s blog.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
